The Navigator’s have been one of NL's most renowned recording and live bands since 2000. Their original compositions inspired music in the famous musical Come From Away, playing at the Gander Arts and Culture Centre. Known for hits like Dance and Sing, Pulling Oil From the Sand, and Living in the 709, they've been featured on TV and radio for over 20 years, including Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown on CNN and The Simpsons in 2019.
The award-winning group blends traditional and original music, touring Canada, the US, and Europe, with four acclaimed studio CDs. The band includes father and son Arthur and Aiden O’Brien, along with Dave Fitzpatrick on drums and vocals. Fred Jorgensen a founding member is recovering from health issues, and Greg Forward some times contributes on bass for tours.
